About
Little Scholars Education started from a desire to offer children and families an affordable, yet high quality childcare option that provided flexible option for parents. Founded by a Early Childhood Teacher & Mother of 4

Our Motto "Play with a Purpose" contains the very best concept that young children learn best in an environment which allows them to explore, discover and play. Our program encompasses fresh concepts that promotes and cultivates the important aspect of learning through play.
Mission
Little Scholars Child Development Center’s mission is to educate young minds through meaningful experiences and nurturing care that focuses not only on the aspect of learning, but on advancement of young children and their families in every aspect of their growing development.
About the Owners
Ashley Trego Founder & CEO has a lifelong passion for creating early childhood programs, where children can
thrive through educational and play experiences. She Graduated from Morgan State University in 2013
with a B.S in Family and Consumer Sciences with a minor in ECE. Upon completion she worked both in
Baltimore City in Head start, and Anne Arundel county in Private childcare programs. In 2015 she
graduated from Walden University with a M.S in Early Childhood Administration, Management, and
Leadership. Community and family engagement are a large component of her programs.
Rick Trego Co-Founder & CFO Previously, a business professional in Corporate Retail mostly in Operations and Asset Protection for 23 years. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
It is very common in the childcare industry for daycares and even preschools get bogged down in the daily schedules of taking care of children. That just should not be the case. As the song goes children are OUR future, teach them well and let them lead the way - this is so true. At LSC, we focus on an educational focused curriculum to ensure your child has the best foot forward for their development and future.
